The Director of Communications will develop and implement effective strategies to tell YPI's story in an effective and engaging manner to appropriate constituents, donors and the press. These strategies will include but are not limited to all media and venues (digital, print, electronic, programs, events and others), with the stated goal of building high quality brand recognition and increasing program engagement and support.
The ideal candidate will bring a creative yet practical approach to marketing, with underlying strengths in communication technologies and strategic analysis. He/she will be someone with a disciplined and analytical background who can act quickly in execution. This individual must be an organized and seasoned professional who is an exceptionally gifted communicator, willing to roll up their sleeves, and be comfortable in an entrepreneurial environment.
